Government through Luapula
Provincial Administration and other stakeholders are set to host the first ever 'Expo and Investment Conference' in the province.
The Luapula Expo, is the provincial administration flagship investment initiative working with all Members of
Parliament from Luapula and fully supported by The President of the Republic of Zambia, His Excellency Mr. Edgar Chagwa Lungu.
Over 300 investors have expressed interest to invest in Luapula from Europe, Asia, South Africa and Zambia will attend the event which will officially be opened and graced by President Lungu.
The prestigious event is set to be held in Mansa from 26th to 31st July, 2017 under the theme “ Linking Investors to Luapula Province to unlock the Economic Potential”.
The Expo will include Site tours of
identified areas such the Samfya
Holiday Beach, Lumangwe Waterfalls,
Kawambwa tea Plantation, Musonda
Water Falls Hydro Power Station,
Mambilima Water Falls, Kalungwishi
River, Ntumbachushi Water Falls and
many other sites.
This business tour and expo will
explore seven main industries
of economic diversification and
development: Agriculture, Forestry, Fisheries, Livestock, Energy, Tourism, Mining and Infrastructure
